Sewerage Services (Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 PU(A) 67/1999 1. Citation and commencement. (1) These regulations may be cited as the Sewerage Services (Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 1999. (2) Regulation 2 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 1997. (3) Regulations 3, 4 and 5 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 July 1998. 2. Amendment of regulation 2. The Sewerage Services (Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 [P.U.(A) 115/94], which in these Regulations are reffered to as the "principal Regulations", are amended in regulation 2 in the national language text by substituting for the word "murah" wherever appearing therein the word "rendah". 3. Amendment of regulation 4. Subregulation 4(1) of the principal Regulations is amended (a) in the proviso to paragraph (b) by substituting for the words "sixty-five sen" the words "forty-five sen"; and (b) in paragraph (d) (i) by inserting after the words "multiplied by" the words "ten or"; and (ii) by inserting after the word "premises" the words ", whichever is the higher". 4. Amendment of regulation 5. Subregulation 5(1) of the principal Regulations is amended (a) by inserting after the word "available" the words "at the time the bill for sewerage charges is to be issued"; and (b) by inserting after the word "months" the words "or such other period as is available". 5.
