Maritime Zones (EEZ Outer Limit Lines) Regulations 2024 GN No. 50 of 2024 Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 29 of 23 March 2024 THE MARITIME ZONES ACT Regulations made by the Prime Minister under sections 14 and 27 of the Maritime Zones Act 1. These regulations may be cited as the Maritime Zones (EEZ Outer Limit Lines) Regulations 2024. 2. In these regulations — "Act" means the Maritime Zones Act. 3. For the purpose of section 14 of the Act, the list of geographical coordinates of points set out in the Schedule shall be the EEZ outer limit lines. 4. Every point defined by geographic coordinates is determined by reference to the World Geodetic System 1984. 5. The geodesic lines are based on the World Geodetic System 1984 ellipsoid. 6. The Maritime Zones (EEZ Outer Limit Lines) Regulations 2008 are revoked. Made by the Prime Minister on 22 March 2024. SCHEDULE [Regulation 3] EXCLUSIVE ECONOMIC ZONE OF THE ISLANDS OF MAURITIUS, RODRIGUES, CARGADOS CARAJOS, AGALEGA AND TROMELIN (Lines joining the points between points 1 and MS 1, between points MS33 and 87 and between points 124 and 1 are arcs of geodetic circles radius 200 nautical miles centered on the territorial sea baseline. Lines joining points between points MSI and MS33 and between points 87 and 124 are geodesics.)
