Environment Protection (Control of Single Use Plastic Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 GN No. 64 of 2023 Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 41 of 13 May 2023 THE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT Regulations made by the Minister under section 96 of the Environment Protection Act 1. These regulations may be cited as the Environment Protection (Control of Single Use Plastic Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2023. 2. In these regulations "principal regulations" means the Environment Protection (Control of Single Use Plastic Products) Regulations 2020. 3. Regulation 17 of the principal regulations is amended, in paragraph (2), by deleting the words "15 January 2023" and replacing them by the words "14 January 2025". 4. These regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on 15 January 2021. Made by the Minister on 4 May 2023.
