B 2232 B 2232 L.N. 348 of 2020 ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT (CAP. 549) Various Provisions relating to Conservation of Wild Birds (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 54 and 55 of the Environment Protection Act, and by regulation 10(6) of the Conservation of Wild Birds Regulations and by regulations 3 and 4 of the Conservation of Wild Birds (Framework for Allowing a Derogation for the Control of Birds in the Interest of Air-Safety) Regulations, the Minister for the Environment, Climate Change and Planning, in agreement with the Minister for Gozo and after consultation with the Environment and Resources Authority, has made the following regulations: Citation. 1. The title of these regulations is Various Provisions relating to Conservation of Wild Birds (Amendment) Regulations, 2020. Part I Amendment to the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columbia Livia) Regulations. S.L. 549.96. 2. This Part amends the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columbia Livia) Regulations, and it shall be read and construed as one with the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columbia Livia) Regulations, hereinafter in this Part referred to as "the principal regulations". Amends regulation 1 of the principal regulations. 3. In regulation 1 of the principal regulations, the words "The title of these regulations is the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columbia Livia) Regulations." shall be substituted by the words "The title of these regulations is Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus Vulgaris and Columba Livia for the Period of 2015–2016) Regulations.". This Part amends the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columbia Livia) Regulations, and it shall be read and construed as one with the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columbia Livia) Regulations, hereinafter in this Part referred to as "the principal regulations". Amends regulation 1 of the principal regulations. 5. In regulation 1 of the principal regulations, the words "The title of these regulations is the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columbia Livia) Regulations." shall be substituted by the words "The title of these regulations is Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus Vulgaris and Columba Livia for the Period of 2016–2017) Regulations.". Part III Amendment to the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columba livia) Regulations. S.L. 549.116. 6. This Part amends the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columba livia) Regulations, and it shall be read and construed as one with the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Sturnus vulgaris and Columba livia) Regulations, hereinafter in this Part referred to as "the principal regulations". Part V Amendment to the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Birds in the Interest of Air Safety) Regulations. S.L. 549.129. 10. This Part amends the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Birds in the Interest of Air Safety) Regulations, and it shall be read and construed as one with the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Birds in the Interest of Air Safety) Regulations, hereinafter in this Part referred to as "the principal regulations". Amends regulation 1 of the principal regulations. 11. In regulation 1 of the principal regulations, the words "The title of these regulations is the Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Birds in the Interest of Air Safety) Regulations." shall be substituted by the words "The title of these regulations is Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of a Derogation for the Control of Birds in the Interest of Air Safety for the Period of 2019–2020) Regulations.".
