VERŻJONI ELETTRONIKA B 1016 B 1016 L.N. 158 of 2020 FISHERIES CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT ACT (CAP. 425) Fishing Vessels (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 38 of the Fisheries Conservation and Management Act, the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights, has made the following regulations:- Citation. 1. The title of these regulations is the Fishing Vessels (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 and these regulations shall be read S.L. 425.07. and construed as one with the Fishing Vessels Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the "principal regulations". Substitutes 2. Regulation 13 of the principal regulations shall be regulation 13 of the principal substituted by the following: regulations. "Inter vivos 13. (1) Without prejudice to other obligations fishing licence transfer. according to law, the Director shall update the fishing licence details of a registered fishing vessel upon receiving a joint written request from the fishing licence holder and an ascendant or descendant up to the first degree, whether by consanguinity or affinity, who shall be registered as the new fishing licence holder in accordance with said request: Provided that, without prejudice to any impediment according to law, upon giving effect to said update the fishing vessel may be used by the new fishing licence holder according to its fishing licence and the law.
