RUBBER RESEARCH (AMENDMENT) CHAPTER 258 RUBBER RESEARCH (AMENDMENT) Act AN ACT m AMEND THE RUBBER RESEARCH ORDINANCE. No. 10 of 1983. Short title. Amendment of section 6 of Chapter 258. [ยง 2, 10 of 1983. I [Act No. IO of 1983-Commencement-,-IOth February, 1983; Operation-1st April, 1983.1 1 . This Act may be cited as the Rubber Research (Amendment) Act. 2. Section 6 of the Rubber Research Ordinance is hereby amended by the substitution for subsection (4) of that section, the following subsection : " (4) For the purpose of calculating the (S) II 141 duty under subsection (1), one litre of fluid latex shall be taken to be equivalent to three hundred and fifty units of a kilogramme of dry rubber and one and half kilogrammes of coagulated latex shall be taken. to be equivalent to one kilogramme of dry-rubber".
