The Order By virtue of powers vested in me Section 3 of the Forest Conservation Ordinance (Chapter 451), as amended by Act, No. 13 of 1966, Act, No. 56 of 1979, Act, No. 13 of 1982, Act, No. 84 of 1988, Act, No. 23 of 1995 and Act, No. 65 of 2009, I, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Minister of Environment do by this order declare the Malasnagala Forest of bounded by the limit set forth in the schedule hereto as Malasnagala Reserved Forest from 01st day of February, 2012. SCHEDULE All state lands located in the Villages named Ranawara Wewa, Dewramvehera, Lunuweraniyawa, Udamattala, Pahalamattala, Ranamuduwewa, Pahala Kumbukwewa, Mahagala Wewa, Veheragala, Agunakola Wewa and Medagama of Lunugamvehera Divisional Secretary’s Division in Hambantota Administrative District, Southern Province that are bounded as follows : By North : From the Eastern boundary of the wall of the Mahagala Tank from the Eastern side, to North along the maximum capacity level of the tank and from there upto the point at which the Southern and Uva Provincial boundaries meet at the maximum capacity level of the Mahagala Tank and from there towards East along the Southern and Uva Provincial boundaries upto the point at which Lunugamvehera - Tanamalwila main road meets and from there towards South of the Lunugamvehera - Tanamalwila main road up to coordinates N. 135659, E. 240000.
