Distribution and Price of Goods (Amendment) Act, no. 9 of 2009

(a) deleting the definition of the words “authorized officer” and substituting the following: “authorized officer” means a Complaints and Investigation Officer or Assistant or a person designated in writing by the Minister to be an authorized officer pursuant to section 44;”’

(b) inserting the following definition in its proper alphabetical sequence: “Complaints and Investigation Officer or Assistant” means a person appointed by the Public Service Commission to investigate consumer complaints;”;
