22nd August, 2014 LEGAL NOTICE No. 116 THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT (No.3 of 2012) IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by sections 108 and 110 of the Land Registration Act, 2012, the Cabinet Secretary for Land, Housing and Urban Development makes the following Regulations: THE LAND REGISTRATION (FORMS) (AMENDMENT) (No.2) REGULATIONS, 2014 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Land Registration (Forms) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2014. LN 104/2014 2. The Land Registration (Forms) Regulations, 2014, published as Kenya Gazette Supplement No. 115 is amended (a) on page 623 by deleting the words "THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA" and substituting therefore the words" THE NATIONAL/COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF" (b) on page 624 by (i) inserting the words "or in pursuance of a surrender" immediately after the words "the execution hereof'; (ii) deleting the words Registrations Index Map" and substituting therefor the words "Registry Index Map"; (iii) inserting the words "National or County Government" immediately before the word "PROVIDED"; (c) on page 625 by deleting the words "greater than" appearing in paragraph 6 of the Special Conditions.
