１ 化学的手段（燃焼、焼成、溶融、乾留及びけん化を除く。以下同じ。）に よって、化合物を構造の異なる物質に変化させること。 1 To convert a chemical compound into a substance with a different structure by chemical means (excluding combustion, calcining, melting, dry distillating and saponification; excluding those products which should be produced by the manufactures or processers of the relevant organic processed foods and graded pursuant to Article 10 or Article 30 of the Act on Japanese Agricultural Standards (Act No. 175 of 1950): （１） 有機農産物 (1) organic products of plant origin ; （２） 有機加工食品 (2) organic processed foods; and （３） 有機畜産物 (3) organic livestock products. ２ １以外の農畜産物。ただし、以下のものを除く。 2 Such agricultural and livestock products other than those specified in the above 1, excluding the followings; the same applies hereinafter), in cases where additives are used, only the minimum amount shall be used. ２ 原材料として使用される有機農産物、有機加工食品及び有機畜産 物は、他の農畜産物又はその加工食品が混入しないように管理を行う こと。 2 Organic agricultural products of plant origin , organic processed foods, and organic livestock products, when used as materials, should be strictly under control so that they should not be mixed up with other agricultural products of plant origin and livestock products or processed foods thereof. ３ 有害動植物の防除は、物理的又は生物の機能を利用した方法によ ること。ただし、物理的又は生物の機能を利用した方法のみによっては 効果が不十分な場合には、別表２の薬剤並びに食品及び添加物（これ らを原材料として加工したものを含み、農産物に対して病害虫を防除す る目的で使用するものを除く。）に限り使用することができる。この場合 においては、原材料、添加物及び製品への混入を防止すること。 3 Pest control shall be carried out by the physical or biological methods; however, should such physical or biological methods alone not effective enough, only those chemical agents listed in Appended Table 2, and food and additives (including those processed using food and additives as raw materials, and excluding those used to plant products for the purpose of controlling pests and diseases ) may be used. In such cases, preventive measures should be taken to avoid the mix-up or contamination risk of raw materials, additives, and products. ４ ３の方法のみによっては有害動植物の防除の効果が不十分な場合 には、有機加工食品を製造し、又は保管していない期間に限り、別表２ に掲げられていない薬剤を使用することができる。この場合において は、有機加工食品の製造開始前に、これらの薬剤を除去すること。 4 Should the pest control methods referred to in 3 not be effective enough ,such chemical agents not listed in Appended Table 2 may be used only in the cases where organic processed foods are not manufactured or stored. In such case, these chemical agents shall be removed before the starting the production of organic processed foods ５ 有害動植物の防除、食品の保存又は衛生の目的での放射線照射を 行わないこと。 5 Irradiation shall not be used for the specified in the above items 1-5 of Raw Materials and Additives (including processing aids) of this table shall be managed so as not to be contaminated with agricultural chemicals, detergents, disinfectants, or other substances. （有機加工食品の表示） (Labeling of Organic Processed Foods) 第５条 食品表示基準（平成２７年内閣府令第１０号）の規定に従うほか、有機加工食品の名称 及び原材料名の表示は、次に規定する方法により行うものとする。 Article 5 Names of organic processed foods and raw materials shall be labeled in accordance with the provisions of the Food Labeling Standards (Cabinet Office Order No. 10 of 2015) or in the following methods. 区分 Classification 基準 Criteria 名称の表示 Labeling of the products １ 次の例のいずれかにより記載すること 1 Such products should be labelled as shown below （１） 「有機○○」又は「○○（有機）」 (1) "有機○○" or "○○(有機)" (which means "organic ○○" or "○○ (organic)" in Japanese.) （２） 「オーガニック○○」又は「○○（オーガニック）」 (2) "オーガニック○○" or "○○(オーガニック)" (which means "organic ○○" or "○○ (organic)" in Japanese.) （注）「○○」には、当該加工食品の一般的な名称を記載すること。 (Note) Generally used names of the processed foods should be put in the "○○." ２ １の基準にかかわらず、転換期間中有機農産物又はこれを製造若 しくは加工したものを原材料として使用したものにあっては、１の例の いずれかにより記載する名称の前又は後に「転換期間中」と記載する こと。ただし、商品名の表示されている箇所に近接した箇所に、背景の 色と対照的な色で、日本産業規格Ｚ８３０５（１９６２）に規定する１４ポイ ントの活字以上の大きさの統一のとれた活字で、「転換期間中」と記載 する場合は、この限りでない。 2 Notwithstanding the criteria set forth in the above 1, in the cases where such organic products of plant origin
