THE JAMAICA GAZETTE SUPPLEMENT PROCLAMATIONS, RULES AND REGULATIONS 318A Vol. CXIX No. 80A THURSDAY, JUNE '1.7, 1996 THE IRRIGATION ACT No.S9A lim YALLAHS IRRIGATION AUTHORITY (ESTABLISHMENT) ORDER. 1996 In exercise of the power conferred on the Minister by section 56 of the Irrigation Act. and of every other power hereunto enabling. the following Order is hereby made: 1. This Order may be cited as the Yallahs Irrigation Authority (Establishment) Order. 1996. 2. In this Order "the Authority" means the Authority established under para graph 3. 3.-(1) There is hereby established an Irrigation Authority for the Yallahs Irrigation area constituted under the Yallahs Irrigation Area Order. 1990. 318B PROCLAMATIONS, RULES AND REGULATIONS [JUNE 27, 1996 (2) The corporate name of the Authority established under sub-paragraph (1) shall be the Yallahs Irrigation Authority. 4.-(1) The Authority shall consist of not more than eight members in addition to the chairman. (2) The members of the Authority shall be appointed by the Minister by instrument in writing and, subject to the provisions of section 59 of the Act and paragraph 5 of this Order, shall hold office for such period not exceeding three years as the Minister may direct in such Instrument. (3) Every member shall be eligible for reappointment. 5. The Minister may at any time revoke the appointment of any member of the Authority if he thinks it expedient to do so. 6.
