• • WILDLIFE PROTECTION THE WILD LIFE PROTECTION ACT REGULATIONS (under section /4) THE WIW LIFE PROTECTION (GAME BIRD HUNTING LIMIT) REGULATIONS, 2004 (Made by the Authority with the approval of the Minister on the 21st day of July, 2004) 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Wild Life Protection (Grune Bird Hunting Limit) Regulations, 2004. 2. The maximum number of game birds which may be hunted by any one peJSOD, on any one day, during a shooting season is (a) where the only game bird being hunted is the Bald-pate (i) on a Saturday, fifteen during each period from sunrise to 9:00 a.m and from 2:30 p.m. to sunset; and (ii) fifteen on a Sonday during the period from sunrise to 9:00 a.m.; (b) where the only game bird being hunted is the Mourning Dove or White-winged Dove or the Pea Dove (i) on a Saturday, twenty during each period from sunrise to 9:00 am and from 2: 30 p.m to sunset; and (ii) twenty on a Sunday during the period from sunrise to 9:00am; (c) where the game birds being hunted are (i) the Mourning Dove and White-winged Dove; (ii) the Mourning Dove and Pea Dove; or (iii) the Pea Dove and White-winged Dove (a) on a Saturday, twenty during each period from sunrise to 9:00 a.m and from 2:30 p.m to sunset; and [The inclusion of tllis page is authorized by L.N. 1/2006) 19 LN. 82B/200,4 20 mE W/W UFE PROTECTION (GAME BIRD HUNTING UMIT) REGUUT/ONS, 2004 (b) twenty on a Sunday during the period from to 9:00 a.m.; (ti) where the game birds being hunted are (i) the Bald-pate and Mourning Dove; (ii) the Bald-pate and White-winged Dove; (iii) . the Bald-pate and Pea Dove; sunrise (iv)· the Bald-pate, Mourning Dove and White-winged Dove; (v) the Bald-pate, Mourning Dove and Pea Dove; (vi) the Bald-pate, White-winged Dove and Pea Dove; or (vii) the Bald-pate, Mourning Dove, Wl)ite-winged Dove and the Pea Dove, twenty during each period from sunrise to 9:00 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to sunset on a Saturday, and from sunrise to 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday, except however, Uiat the maximum number of Bald-pate which may be hunted during any one period shall be fifteen. 3. Any person who contravenes a provision of these Regulations commits an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction before a Resident Magistrate to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand dollars or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding twelve months. {The indusin11 -of this page is authorized by LN. i/2006] • •
