Sea Fisheries (General Fees) (Jersey) Order 2010 Arrangement Price code: B Page - 1 R&O.111/2010 SEA FISHERIES (GENERAL FEES) (JERSEY) ORDER 2010 Arrangement Article 1 Charge for fishing boat licence ....................................................................... 3 2 Fees for scallop permits ................................................................................... 3 3 Fees for fisheries licence ................................................................................. 3 4 Sea Fisheries (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2007 revoked .......................................... 4 5 Citation and commencement ........................................................................... 4 Sea Fisheries (General Fees) (Jersey) Order 2010 Article 1 Page - 3 R&O.111/2010 SEA FISHERIES (GENERAL FEES) (JERSEY) ORDER 2010 Made 16th November 2010 Coming into force 1st January 2011 THE MINISTER FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, in pursuance of Regulation 7(5) of the Sea Fisheries (Licensing of Fishing Boats) (Jersey) Regulations 20031, Regulation 3 of the Sea Fisheries (Underwater Fishing) (Jersey) Regulations 20032 and Regulations 2 and 5 of the Sea Fisheries (Fisheries) (Jersey) Regulation 20103, orders as follows – 1 Charge for fishing boat licence For the purposes of Regulation 7 of the Sea Fisheries (Licensing of Fishing Boats) (Jersey) Regulations 20034, the prescribed charge for the grant of a fishing boat licence is £92.00 (whether the licence is a class A licence or a class B licence). 2 Fees for scallop permits For the purposes of Regulation 3 of the Sea Fisheries (Underwater Fishing) (Jersey) Regulations 20035, the prescribed fee for the grant of a permit to take scallops is – (a) if the permit is for the taking of scallops in unlimited quantities, £80.95; or (b) if the permit is for the taking of a maximum of 24 scallops per day, £16.90. 3 Fees for fisheries licence (1) For the purposes of Regulation 2 of the Sea Fisheries (Fisheries) (Jersey) Regulations 20106, the prescribed fee to accompany an application for a sea fisheries licence is £167.50. (2) For the purposes of Regulation 5 of the Sea Fisheries (Fisheries) (Jersey) Regulations 2010, the prescribed fee – Article 4 Sea Fisheries (General Fees) (Jersey) Order 2010 Page - 4 R&O.111/2010 (a) on the grant or renewal of a sea fisheries licence is – (i) £167.50, and (ii) £25.40 per hectare of the sea bed in the fishery to which the licence relates; and (b) thereafter is an annual charge of the amounts specified in sub paragraph (a). 4 Sea Fisheries (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2007 revoked The Sea Fisheries (Fees) (Jersey) Order 20077 is revoked. 5 Citation and commencement This Order may be cited as the Sea Fisheries (General Fees) (Jersey) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 1st January 2011.
