TI1ccollcction or the spcciesofplan!S on<I animals listed in column (2) oftlic Table shall be prohibited, except with Lhe approval ortl1e Madhya Pradesh Slate Biodiversity Board only for the purposes mentioned below, namely: (a) Scientific research; (b) herbarium and museum of scientific and academic institutions; (c) propagation; and (d} any other scientific investigation. 3, The Marlhya l'radesh Stntc Biodiversity Board shall widertake : (i} studies on all aspects of the notified species for holistic w1derstanding; (ii) propagation of the notified species for the purpose or in situ and ex si/11 conservation and rehabilitation: and (iii) awareness programmes and provide educational materials on notified species for forest depamnent personnel, Biodiversity Management Commiuees, ecotourism programmes, and forest dwellers and tribals.
