( I) These rules may be called the Betwa River board (Ame ndme nt) rules, 1986. (2) They shall come into force on the date of the ir publication in the Official Gazcttcc . 2. In the Betwa River board Rules 1977- for rule 10, the following rule shall be subst ituted, uamely:» 10. Composition - The committee shall consist of the following nam ely; Chairman Cha irman, Centra l Water Commission and Ex-oftic io Secretary to the Government of India. Members (2) Memb er (Planning and Progress), Centra l Water Commission and ex-officio Additional Secretary to the Govt. of India . (3) Chairman, Centra l Electricity Authority or his nomin ee of the rank of Chief Engineer and above. (4) Joint Secretary, Deptt. Of Power, Ministry of Energy, Govt. of India. (5) Financia l Adviser, Ministry of Water Resources. (6) Commissioner (River Basins), Ministry of Water Resources (7) Secretary, Finance Deptt ., Government of M.P. or his nominee of the rank of Joint Secretary and above . (8) Secre tary, Finance Deptt ., Government ofU .P. or his nominee of the rank of Joint Secretary and above. (9) Secretary, Irrigation Department, Gov!. of M.P . (10) Secretary, Irrigation Department, or Special Secretary, Irrigation Deptt.Govt. of U.P.
