72 COI\'TROL OF GOODS AND SERVICES ORDER (POULTRY TREATED WITH HORMONES OR FED CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES), 5 0-1959 By virtue of the power vested in me by SS 5 and 15 Control of Goods and Services Law 5718-1957 {l}, and by virtue of the powet granted me under any rule of Jaw, I hereby order as follows: Definitions Prohibition of hormone treatment Feeding poultry with ~hemica] substances Transfer of poultry In this Order "Poultry" - including chicken, turkey, goose, duck, pigeon, pheasant; "Hormorte treatment" - introduction of hormones into the poultry in any way or in any manner; "Hormones" - natural or synthetic oestrogenic substances. 2. No person shall treat any poultry with hormones. 2A. No person shall feed poultry with substances containing arsenic, including arsanilic acid, and substances containing antimony (hereinafter - feeding with chemical substances). 3. No person shall transfer to another by any kind of transfer the ownership or possession of poultry, on any part of a fowl, treated with hormones or fed with chemical substances, whether Jive or slaughtered, nor shall he acquire or possess the same for business purposes. Saving Laws 4. This Order shall not derogate from the force of any other rule of law. Commencement 5. The commencement of this Order shaJJ be at the termination of three months from the date of its publication in Reshumot. Name 6. This Order shall be called "Control of Goods and Services Order (Poultry Treated with Hormones or Fed Chemical Substances) (Amendment), 5723-1963".
