No. 304 of 2018 EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (MINIMUM CONDITIONS FOR EXAMINING OF VEGETABLE SPECIES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2018 I, MICHAEL CREED, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communi ties Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2018/100 of 22 January 20181, hereby make the following regulations: 1.These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Minimum Conditions for Examining of Vegetable Species) (Amendment) Regulations 2018. 2. The European Communities (Minimum Conditions for Examining of Veg etable Species) Regulations 2004 (S.I. No. 121 of 2004) are amended by substi tuting in Regulation 2 for the definition of “Directive” (as amended by Euro pean Communities (Minimum Conditions for examining of Vegetable Species)(Amendment) Regulations 2017 (S.I. No. 310 of 2017) the following “‘Directive’ means Commission Directive No. 2003/91/EC of 6 October 20032 as amended by Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2018/100 of 22 January 2018;”. 3. The European Communities (Minimum Conditions for Examining Veg etable Species) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 (S.I. No. 310 of 2017) is revoked. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 25 July 2018.
