A 373 2012 Agricultural Census Order SRO. 20 GRENADA STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS NO. 20 OF 2012 Ti EP MINISTER RF.SPONSIBI E FOR STATISTICS IN EXERCISE OF l'HE POWERS CONFERRED ON RINI BY SECTION 5 OF THE S EAIIS FIGS ACT, CAP. 311 OF THE 2010 CONTINUOUS REVISED EDITION OF THE LAWS OF GRENADA MAKES THE FOLLOWING ORDER: (Gazetted 3rd August, 2012). 1. Citation. This Order may be cited as the C TIa.L.CENIka O ME&ZIL 2. Agricultural Census Period. An Agricultural Census for the State of Grenada shall he taken during the period 7th October, 2012 to 30th December 2012, inclusive 3. Information to bc obtained and particulars to be stated. The information required for the Agricultural Census and the particulars to be stated in the Census fonns shall be those set out in Schedule I of this Order . 4. Forms. The forms as set out in Schedule II to this Order shall be used for the collection of statistics for the purposes of the Agricultural Census. SCHEDULE I (Section 3) General Information: Address of dwelling or household, name and sex of head of household, number of persons living in the household, number of mahogany trees owed by household, number of persons in household who fish, make coals, practise agro-forestry, agro-processing, own nursery, or pot plants, ownership of at least 1/4 acre of temporary crops or at least 25 permanent plants, ownership of livestock. General Information on Farmer: Legal status of tem, sex, age, education and main occupation of fanner during the last twelve months, A 374 SRO. 20 Agricultural Census Order 2012 Household characteristics: Head of household, sex and age of household members, paid and unpaid non-household members by sex and age. Total land and land tenure by Parcel: Number of parcels operated, acreage of farm and slope of land. Actual laud use: Land use of parcel by plot, temporary crops harvested and irrigation practised on the parcel. Livestock: Number of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, and other livestock, machinery and equipment owned, rented or borrowed by farmer. Use of chemical fertilizer, organic manure or Agro-chemicals. Other miscellaneous information: Point of sale of production, membership of organisation. Technical assistance received from organisations, institutions providing credit, percentage of income received from farms. Recordkeeping. Production issues.
