Water (Amendment) Regulations 2024 (S.R.O. 14 of 2024)

1. These Regulations may be cited as the – Short title. WATER (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2024.

2. In these Regulations the Water Regulations are referred Interpretation. Subsidiary to as “the Principal Regulations”. Chap. 43:40

3. The Third Schedule is amended- Amendment of the Third Schedule. (a) in item 2 in relation to the minimum connection fee by deleting the figure “$240.00” and substituting the figure “$450.00”; (b) by inserting the following new item 5 immediately after item 4: “5. Water Guarantee Charge Domestic Metered and $15.00 Domestic Unmetered per calendar month 2024 WATER AND SEWERAGE S.R.O. 14 Commercial: Large Business $800.00 per calendar month Medium Business $175.00 per calendar month Small Business $100.00 per calendar month “Large Business” means a business with revenue of $5, 000,000.00 and above. “Medium Business” means a business with revenue of more than $250, 000.00 but less than $5, 000, 000.00 annually. “Small Business” means a business with revenue less than $250, 000.00.”.
