AN ACT TO AMEND THE REGISTRAnON AND RECORDS ACT, CHAP. 19:04. (Gazetted 2nd December, 1993.) 1. This Act may be cited as the REGISTRAnON AND RECORDS (AMENDMENT) ACT 1993. Short title. ) 2. In this Act the Registration and Records Act is referred to as Interpretation. "h A " Ch.19:04. l e ct. 3. (1) TheRegistrarmaydelegate in writing to the Deputy Registrar the duties and functions conferred on him under the Act. (2) Those powers or dutiesmay be exercised or performed subject to any conditions, exceptions, or qualifi cations astheRegistrar, mayprescribe, and thereupon from the date of the written delegation by the Registrarthe Deputy Registrarshall have and exer cise those powers and perform those duties." Insertion of section 208 in theAct. Amendment of section24 of the Act. S. The Actis amended by inserting the following section "Effect of 20B. Adelegation ofa duty,function delegation. orpowershallnotpreclude theRegistrar from exercising the duty, funelion or power." 6.
