Fisheries (Berthing) (Amendment) Regulations (S.R.O. 18 of 2005)

2005 FISHERIES (BERTHING) S.R.O. 18 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS COMMONWEALTH OF DOMINICA STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS No.18 OF 2005. REGULATIONS MADE by the Minister under section 26 of the Fisheries Act, (Chap. 61:60). (Gazetted 8th September, 2005). 1. These Regulations may be cited as the FISHERIES (BERTHING) (AMENDMENT) REGULA TIONS, 2005. 2. In these Regulations the Fisheries (Berthing) Regulations is referred to as “the Principal Regulations”. 3. Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended by repealing sub-regulation (3) and replacing it with the following: “(3) In these Regulations, “public structure or facil ity”means any structure erected or facility estab lished for fisheries purposes at a designated fish landing site.” 4. Regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations is amended in paragraph (a) by inserting after the word “Chief Fisheries Officer” the following: “ or the designated authority.” 5. Schedule I to the Principal Regulation is amended by (a) deleting “Atkinson”, “Wesley” and “Salybia”; (b) deleting the words “Roseau Bay” and substituting “Roseau Fisheries Complex”; and Short title. Schedule I amended. 2005 FISHERIES (BERTHING) S.R.O. 18 (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS (c) deleting the word “Marigot” and substituting “Marigot Fisheries Complex”. 6.
