Inconsistencies in Acts Incompatibilité — lois (2) In the event of an inconsistency between a consolidated statute published by the Minister under this Act and the origi nal statute or a subsequent amendment as certified by the Clerk of the Parliaments under the Publication of Statutes Act, the original statute or amendment prevails to the extent of the inconsistency. Definition of "agreement" Définition de « accord » 2 In this Act, agreement means the agreement conclud ed on July 20, 1993 between Her Majesty in right of Cana da and the Pictou Landing Indian Band. 2 Dans la présente loi, accord s’entend de l’accord conclu le 20 juillet 1993 entre Sa Majesté du chef du Canada et la bande indienne de Pictou Landing. Indian moneys Argent des Indiens 3 For greater certainty, no amount paid pursuant to the agreement to the Pictou Landing Indian Band or its members either before or after the coming into force of this Act constitutes Indian moneys for the purposes of the Indian Act, and subsection 35(4) of that Act does not apply in respect of any such amount. 3 Il est entendu que, d’une part, les sommes versées en vertu de l’accord à la bande indienne de Pictou Landing ou à ses membres — même avant l’entrée en vigueur de la présente loi — ne constituent pas de l’argent des Indiens au sens de la Loi sur les Indiens et, d’autre part, le para graphe 35(4) de cette loi ne s’applique pas à celles-ci. Sole recourse for individual claims Réclamations particulières 4 Claims by members of the Pictou Landing Indian Band arising from the adverse effects referred to in section 13 of the agreement may only be made against the continu ing compensation account, and in accordance with the procedure, referred to in that section. 4 Les membres de la bande n’ont droit, à l’égard des ré clamations particulières relatives aux effets domma geables visés à l’article 13 de l’accord, qu’au versement d’une somme prélevée sur le fonds d’indemnisation qui y est visé. Ces réclamations sont faites selon la procédure visée à cet article.
