In recognition of the cultures of the Aboriginal peoples of the Northwest Territories, and in recognition of the significant contributions of Aboriginal persons to the Northwest Territories, and to celebrate and honour those cultures and contributions, June 21 of each year shall be known as "National Aboriginal Day" and shall be observed as a public holiday. 1. En reconnaissance de la culture des peuples autochtones des Territoires du Nord-Ouest et de leur contribution remarquable aux Territoires du Nord-Ouest, le 21 juin de chaque année est désigné «Journée nationale des Autochtones» et devient un congé férié en l’honneur de la culture et de la contribution des peuples autochtones. 2. - 5.
