AN ACT to amend the Trade Licensing Act, Act No. 19 of 2024; to change the date of commencement of the Act to allow for further public sensitisation of the scope and nature of the Act; and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. (Gazetted 11th February, 2025) BE IT ENACTED, by and with the advice and consent of the House of Representatives and Senate of Belize and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Short title. TRADE LICENSING (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2024, 34 Trade Licensing [No. Act No. 19 of and shall be read and construed as one with the Trade Licensing 2024. Act, which is hereinafter referred to as the principal Act. Amendment of 2. The principal Act is amended in section 52 by deleting section 52 the words “1st day of January” and substituting the words “1st day of October”. Commencement. 3.
