Citation 2. Amendment of First Schedule to Cap. 32:02 IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred on the Minister of Local Government and Lands by section 3 (6) of the Tribal Land Act, the following Order is hereby made Citation Amendment of Fim Schedule to C.ap. 32:02 I. This Order may be cited as the Tribal Land (Amendment of Schedule) Order, 1984. 2. The First Schedule to the Tribal Land Act is hereby amended in respect of each land board the name or title of which is set out in the second column thereof by substituting for the entries set opposite thereto in the third column thereof the following new entries "{a) The Chief ex officio or his representative; (b) 2 members being representatives of the tribe appointed by the Minister from a slate of 6 persons elected publicly at the kgotla; (c) 3 other members appointed by the Minister; (d) 2 members being representatives <?{ the District Council; (e) one member being the representative of the Minister for the time being responsible for agriculture; (f) one member being the representative of the Minister for the time being responsible for commerce and industry, who shall be deemed to be co-opted by the board under section 5 except that he may take pan in the proceedings of a meeting of th~ board only.to the extent that the proceedings are in respect of a matter relating to commerce or industry.".
