These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Oil Pollution) (Indemnification of Ship-owners) Regulations. 2. The requirements prescribed for the purpose of section 41(4)(a) of the Merchant Shipping (Oil Pollution) Act, being such requirements which appear to the Minister appropriate to implement the provisions of Article 5(3) of the Fund Convention, are — (a) sections 4, 5, 7, 49 and 54 of the Merchant Shipping (Oil Pollution) Act; and (b) sections 9, 173, 181, 188, 193, 194, 195, 198, 199 and 202 of the Merchant Shipping Act. MERCHANT SHIPPING (OIL POLLUTION) ACT (DOLLAR EQUIVALENT) ORDER (SECTION 57) [Commencement 4th June, 1987] 1. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Oil Pollution) Act (Dollar Equivalent) Order. 2. For the purposes of the Merchant Shipping (Oil Pollution) Act, the following dollar equivalents are hereby specified as the amounts which shall be taken as equivalent to the specified number of francs — S.I. 83/1978 Citation.
