SCHEDULE - COMPOUNDABLE OFFENCES 4601 BRUNEI DARUSSALAM GOVERNMENT GAZETTE PREVENTION OF POLLUTION OF THE SEA ORDER, 2005 (S 18/05) PREVENTION OF POLLUTION OF THE SEA (COMPOUNDABLE OFFENCES) REGULATIONS, 2008 In exercise of the power conferred by section 30( 1) of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea Order, 2005, the Minister of Communications, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, hereby makes the following Regulations Citation. 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Compoundable Offences) Regulations, 2008. Compoundable offences. 2. ( 1) Any of the offences specified in the Schedule may be compounded for a sum not exceeding $2,000. (2) The offence punishable under section 22(5) of the Order may be compounded for a sum not exceeding $500. SCHEDULE COMPOUNDABLE OFFENCES (regulation 2(1)) 1. Sections 5(1!, 8, 9(1), 10(6), 13(1), 13(2), 13(3), 14(4!, 15, 20(3) and 22(1) of the Order. 2. Regulation 9 of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Oil) Regulations, 2008. 3. Regulation 9 of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Noxious Liquid Substances in Bulk) Regulations, 2008. 4.
