2. Amendment of section 2 of Chapter 223 1962 13th. NOVEMBER, 2023 CONSTITUTION OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM (Order made under Article 83(3)) ELECTRICITY ACT (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 2023 In exercise of the power conferred by Article 83(3) of the Constitution of Brunei Darussalam, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan hereby makes the following Order - Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Electricity Act (Amendment) Order, 2023. Amendment of section 2 of Chapter 223
2. Section 2 of the Electricity Act is amended by deleting the definition of "Minister" and by substituting the following new definition therefor- " "Minister" means the Minister responsible for energy;". Made this 26th. day of Rabiulawal, 1445 Hijriah corresponding to the 12th. day of October, 2023 at Our Istana Nurul Iman, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. HIS MAJESTY THE SULTAN AND YANG DI-PERTUAN, BRUNEI DARUSSALAM. 1963
