Short ttde.-TMs Act may be called the Bangladesh Wild Life (Preservation) (Amendment) Act, 1974. 2. AM&fflnletlt of .btMe 2, ft. O. N.. 23 ol 1'73.-ln the Banglaciesh Wild Life (Preservation) Ot"tblr, 197l (P, 0. Amendment of Artiicle 5, P. 0. Amendment of Article 6, P. o. No, 23 of 19'73.--In the said Order, in Article 6, (a) in clau.c;;e (1), in sub-clause (a), in paragraph (ii), for the words "an animal" the words "a wild animal" shall be substituted ; and (b) in clause (3), for the words and commas "The Officer autho rised in this behalf may, at his discretion," the words "An officer may11 shall be substituted. 5. Amendment of Article 7, P. O. No, 23 of 1973.-In the said Order, in Article 7, the wo~ "i1,sued for the purpuise under this Order" shall be omitted. 6. Amendment of Article 8, P. 0. No. 23 of 1973.-In the said Order, in Article 8, in clause (2), the word "authorised" shall be omitted. 7. Amendment of Article 9, P. 0, No, 23 of 1973.-In the said Order, in Article 9,- (a) in clause (1), the words "authorised by the Government in this behalf" shall be omitted; and (b) in clauses (2), (3), (4) and (5), the word "authorised" wherever occurring shall be omitted. 8. Amendment of Article 12, P. O. No. 23 of 1973.-In the said Order, in Article 12, in clause (2), for the words "according to the instruction of the officer authorised in this behalf by the Government" the words "in such manner as may be prescribed" shall be sub5tituted. 9. Amendment of Article 13, P. 0. No. 23 of 1973.-In the said Order, in Article 13, (a) in clause (1), in sub-clause (ii), for the words "issued under . this Order by the authorised officer" the words "issued by the Government under this Order" shall be substituted ; and (b) in clause (2), (i) the words "authorised by the Government in this behalf'' shall be omitted; and (ii) for the words "the Lawful" the words "the owner having the CE-rtificate of Lawful,, shall be substituted. 10. Amruidment of Artide 14, P.O. No. 23 of 19'73.-In the said Order, in Article 14, in the proviso, for the words "the animal" the words "the wild. animal" ::;hull be substituted .. 11. Anwndment of Article 15, P. 0. Amendment of Artiele 17, P. 0, No. 23 of 1973.-In the said Order, in Article 17, the words and comma ''or any other person authorised by the Government in this behalf," shall be omitted. 14 Amendment of Article 18, P.O. No. 23 of 1913.--In the said Order, tn Article 18, the words "or any other person authorised by the Govern ment in this behalf" shall be omitted. 15. Amendment of Article 19, r. o. No. Z3 of 1973.-In the said Order, in Article 19,-, (a) for the word and comma "porduce," the words and comma "produce, persons serving under the" shall be substituted; and (b) the words 11or any other persons authorised by the Government in this behalf" shall be omitted. 16. Amendment of Article 20, P. O. No. 23 of 1973.-In the said Order, in Article 20, for the words and figure "an officer or any other person authorised to c?eal with the property seized under Artil'le 1.7 which is subject to speedy and natural decay" words, figure and comma "any pro perty seized u:1der Article 17 which is subject to speedy and natural decay, the officer seizing such property" shall be substituted. 17. l\,mendment of Artkle 21, P.O. No. 23 of 1073.-In the said Order, in Article 21, (a) in c1aus1a: (1), in sub~chrni,;e (c), for the words "any animal" the words 1'any wild animal" shall be substituted; and (b) in clause (3), for tbe words "the officer authorised in this be half may determine" the words "may be prescribed" shall be substituted. 18. Amendment of the Third Schedule, P. 0. No. 23 of 1973.-In the said Order, in the 'Ihird Schedule, (a) in paragraph 1, for the word "Raptiles" the word "repti?es" shall be substituted ; and (b) in paragraph 3, for the word "rouge" the word "rogue" shall be substituted.
