Presidential Decree regarding enactment of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic on water economy of municipalities

The President’s Decree of the Azerbaijan Republic On Enactment of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic On Water Economy of Municipalities. For the purpose to enact the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic On Water Economy of Municipalities, I decide: 1. To assign to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic within two months: • provide to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic the proposals to adapt the applicable legislative acts to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic On Water Economy of Municipalities; • ensure the conformity of the normative legislative acts of the Cabinet of Ministers and relative central executive bodies with this Law and provide the relative information to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic; • prepare and provide to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic the draft legislative acts identifying the types of responsibilities for the infringement of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic; • provide to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic the proposals on the executive bodies implementing the functions of “the relative executive bodies” stipulated in the articles 11.4 and 13.3 of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic On Water Economy of Municipalities; • within its jurisdiction, settle other issues related to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic On Water Economy of Municipalities. 2. To identify that: • the President of the Azerbaijan Republic implements the function of “the relative executive bodies” stipulated in the article 3.1 of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic On Water Economy of Municipalities; • the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic implements the function of “the relative executive body” stipulated in the article 5 of this Law; • the local executive bodies implement the function of “the relative executive bodies” stipulated in the articles 12.1 and 12.2 of this Law; • the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Azerbaijan Republic implements the function of “the relative executive body” stipulated in the article 15 of this Law. 3. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic shall ensure the transfer of the local significant state owned water structures located on the municipal lands to the municipal property.
